DescriptionCriteria is: Must have at least a Bachelors Degree and mandatory they have CPM Certification-if they dont have this they wont qualify. Client wants 10-20 yrs exp in purchasing with 3-5 yrs in purchasing management . Needs to have experience purchasing a variety of commodities and components to include plastics/electro-mechanical/electrical/ mechanical parts. Needs to have exp with international sourcing-especially Asia, needs to show solid negotiating skills and monetary savings. Any exposure to customer service would be helpful. Nice if somewhere in candidates background they might have worked in operations. Could be promotable in the future to operations manager. Will have an annual buy of $48-50 million, will oversee 6 other direct reports in dept. Client does about $70 million in sales, div of large public corp.Provides products to the Marine and Boating Industry
