Job Description
We are a $40 million family owned commodity chemical distributor that has been in business since 1963. Registered to ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004; and involved with the Responsible Distribution Process as a member of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD).
We have an immediate opening for a Chemical Sales Manager, working from our Michigan location. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Sales Manager will be responsible for overall sales growth, managing the Account Managers, and acting as Business Manager. He or she will administer pricing, business selection, manage the gross profit for the company, participate in strategic planning and future growth for the company; and other assignments as needed.
The successful candidate will:
Have a degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry (MBA a plus)
Have 10 years or more in chemical sales
Have 3 years or more in sales management
Live in or be willing to relocate to Michigan
Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have good computer skills
